Supporting World Earth Day

Soul Destiny supports earthday.org in their vision and commitment to end plastics for the sake of human and planetary health, demanding 60% reduction in the production of all plastics by 2040.

Each month we come together here, to try to find better solutions for our packaging, and think of ways that we can reduce our plastic use at Soul Destiny. So far, in the past 12 months we have used 50% less plastic for packing, more of our orders are now sent in recyclable cardboard instead of plastic, and the plastic that we currently wrap our vet bedding in, to keep it clean and waterproof, is made from recycled products.

We have some way to go, but we are very aware of the need to reduce our plastic use. Today is a great opportunity to share what we are doing to try and reduce our plastic use, as an on-line business.

Whilst we are doing what we can, World Earth Day is also about promoting sustainable living.

The majority of our products, such as jute and recycled cotton, are environmentally friendly and sustainably sourced. Many items that we sell on our website are incredibly long-lasting products for you and your pet to enjoy and we love to provide you beautifully crafted products that are Good for the Soul.
